Who We Are
Based in San Jose, HB Design & Construction is a licensed design-build general contractor. The "Design" in our name isn't decoration: we believe good construction starts with good design, and good design deserves to be built faithfully.
In an industry built on layers of subcontracting, we take a different path: our designers, project managers and crews work as one team, with a project lead managing every job site and answering directly to every client. When you call us, you reach someone with real decision-making authority over your project.
We work fluently in both English and Chinese, so nothing is lost in translation — from contract terms to the width of a grout line.
How We Work
Line-item bids, written change orders, weekly progress reports. You always know where the money goes and where the project stands.
Trim lines, waterproofing, structure — the same standard for what shows and what doesn't. We only build what will stand the test of time.
